Ohio Pint Day - September 26, 2023

Ohio Pint Day will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023 at more than 180 participating breweries across the state. Craft beer enthusiasts are invited to purchase a limited-edition collectible pint glass available exclusively at the participating brewery taprooms.

Our very own Artist In Residence, Amy Kollar Anderson, designed this year’s glass.

I am honored to design this year’s Ohio Pint Day glass! When I was brainstorming ideas, I thought about looking at the image as you rotated the glass and something that would be light-hearted and whimsical. I pictured a Victorian style chaise and who might lounge there. Visions of a goddess (perhaps Ninkasi, Goddess of Beer?) enjoying a pint came to mind, but she needed something more to create an engaging narrative. As a proud Daytonian, I wanted something to represent my city and thought about our baseball team, the Dayton Dragons. I am also a fan of mythical creatures and Game of Thrones. I concluded that surrounding this lovely lady should be three hungry dragons begging for a sip!

We are nuts about trivia with jesse!

Every Tuesday night you can find the Comedian, Jesse Nutt, throwing out brain twisters for all you trivia geeks. Gather your group or go for it solo. Our cozy, eclectic brewery is the perfect setting to get those mental juices flowing while enjoying one of our many craft beers (or perhaps a kombucha!) on draft. Join Jesse on Tuesdays, starting at 7:00pm for your mental aerobics class. Perhaps you will be victorious and claim a brewery prize!

Tell your friends you are taking them Nowhere in Particular!

Out-of-town friends are headed this way and you are in charge of entertaining them. What do you do? Sure, there are lots of fun places around Dayton to take visitors, but your friends want to see something different, have a brewed beverage, and oh, they decided to bring their dog. First place you should bring them is Nowhere in Particular… Cabinet of Curiosities! We have lots of refreshing drafts in a variety of styles and all your friends, even the furry ones, are welcome! Our art filled tasting room has been designed by local artist, Amy Kollar Anderson, and it will certainly spark conversations as well as offer some fun backdrops to celebrate making memories with friends!

Dayton Ale Trail Expert

You may use the Dayton Ale Trail passport book to navigate your way amongst the 31 participating breweries to collect stamps, but did you know that our esteemed brewer, Charles Navillus, is a trail expert?

Living the true life of an itinerant, Navillus scaled mountains, pirated ships, and ran every wooded trail known (and not known!). Navillus doesn’t need a map to navigate the brewery world. After traveling from kettle to kettle to produce his hobo brew, Charles finally has a test kitchen at NIPCOC, but he still roams the ale trails of the world never content to sit still for long!

Get Your To-Go Beer Right Here!

Have you checked out our new to-go cans? They were designed by local Dayton Artist, Amy Kollar Anderson, and she has more in the works! We will be offering a rotating selection of IPAs, Sours, and other delicious craft beers. So whether you want to spend the evening in our eclectic Kettering taproom, or at home on your comfy couch, we have your beer needs covered!

Dogs are our best friends and neighbors!

Here at NIPCOC, we love our furry friends! We encourage you to bring Fido or FiFi and enjoy a cold pint with them. Another option is to drop them off next door at Pet Styles of Kettering for a pampering session while you enjoy a beer, then show off their new hairdo at the brewery. The only thing better than a dog is a clean dog, so let us shower them with love in our dog friendly Kettering brewery! Check out our listing on Bring Fido and find other dog friendly breweries and bars in Dayton, Ohio.
